The CASA choir ended 2024 with a concert at the Vines Uniting Church in Woodcroft on 1 December which was well attended and warmly received.

CASA was represented by a small but enthusiastic delegation participating in the Respecting Country parade on Australia Day.

Tuesday 18th February 2025

CASA members viewed part 1 of a DVD on the Kapunda Mines. Other parts will be shown at future meetings.

Wednesday 5th March 2025

CASA members enjoyed lunch at the Maid of Auckland Hotel to mark St Piran’s Day. And it was actually on St Piran’s Day this year too!

May 2025

The Kernewek Lowender festival took place in the week 12-18 May on South Australia’s Copper Coast. CASA hosted two events, being the History seminar and the Sup & Sing dinner and community singing concert. Both were well received.

This CASA meeting hopes to discuss the future of the association, seeking members’ thoughts and ideas on their interests and possible activities.

Lainie Anderson will talk about Kate Cocks, and her second historical novel about Kate’s work in our police force.

Meetings are held at the Unley Community Centre at 18 Arthur St (immediately north of the Unley Shopping Centre).
